The letter to Nairobi
Over the four days that Heatwave FM was active we collected signatures for an open letter to the New Zealand Government calling on them to take strong leadership in the Nairobi climate talks, which start this week. We would like the Government to:
- push for legally binding targets to reduce greenhouse pollution internationally.
- say no to Marsden B and any other new coal fired power station in New Zealand . .
The letter will be delivered to the New Zealand delegation meeting at the United Nations Climate Conference in Nairobi where delegates from more than 175 countries are meeting from November 4 - 17.
